Restaurant Line Cook
We are looking for Full Time and Part Time Line Cooks to join our team at CONRAD'S Eat Drink Local in Kearney! CONRAD'S is 8 minutes north of Liberty, MO. We are looking for someone who can help prepare meals according to our recipes in a fast-paced, high-volume, scratch-kitchen. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef's specifications. Positions available in Full-Time & Part-Time.
You will be responsible for the opening and closing duties and leaving your station and the kitchen setup for the next person and service to be successful. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant growth.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked
- Prepare components of each dish on the menu
- Follow recipes given to maintain consistency
- Report to the executive and sous chefs and follow instructions
- Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards; follow sanitation practices
- Stock inventory and supplies
- Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff
Line Cook Requirements:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Aptitude for multi-tasking
- Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment preferred
- Ability to acquire proper certifications required by the County
- Knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods
Compensation:
- $15-$18 per hour based on experience
- Full-Time qualifies for Health, Dental, and Vision
