As a Supervising Member of our Team, you will exemplify Go Greek Yogurt’s vision and values while acting in accordance with Go Greek Yogurt mission. You will be responsible for the daily supervision of food service operations, product quality assurance, and a positive customer experience. Additionally, you will be tasked with cash handling, providing a team friendly environment, a well maintained store, and ensuring the goals and standards of Go Greek Yogurt are met by insuring compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies as well as corporate departmental policies and procedures.

 

Responsibilities will include:

·         Daily supervision and execution of food production

·         Team Leadership

·         Insure that service standards, safety, and aesthetic presentation of food are met

·         Insure the proper execution of menu items, recipes, and service concepts

·         Supervise food service employees

·         Training, employee coaching, and discipline

·         Assigns Team Members to specific tasks to insure the timely completion of duties and responsibilities required by the store

·         Consults with General Manager regarding daily operations, customer service concerns, compliance issues, and human resources (i.e. discipline and performance appraisals)

·         Exceed customer and corporate food service related satisfaction standards

 

 

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:

·         Minimum of two years’ experience in a supervisory capacity - foodservice operations preferred

·         Ability to supervise multiple employees performing multiple tasks

·         Self-directed with strong verbal and interpersonal skills with the capacity for conflict resolution

·         Organized, with creative problem solving experience

·         Cognizant of daily department operations and ability to identify and prepare for unusual situations that arise

·         Ability to exert 25 pounds of effort to push or pull a cart and the ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds

·         Stooping, kneeling, reaching

·         Sufficient dexterity to operate kitchen utensils and a computer keyboard

·         Will involve long periods of sitting, standing or walking (about 90%)

·         California Food Handling Card

·         Competent in preparation of spreadsheets, data bases, word processing

·         Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holiday
