Restaurant Attendant/ Cook @ Courtyard Gretna

Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Bartender and Kitchen staff to join our team and provide excellent service to our guests. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, including cocktails, beer, and wine, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails, beer, and wine

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing glasses and utensils and restocking supplies

• Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

• Communicate effectively with other team members, including servers and management

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures

• Other duties as assigned

  • Prepare and cook food according to restaurant standards and recipes

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including adhering to cleaning schedules and safety protocols

  • Assist the kitchen manager and chefs with various tasks as needed, including inventory management and food prep

  • Follow instructions and guidelines from the kitchen manager

  
  

  Qualifications:

  
  

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred

  • Strong teamwork skills

  • Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

  • Knowledge of food safety guidelines

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)

  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a bartender or in a similar role

    • Excellent communication and customer service skills

    • Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

    • Basic math skills
