Respirator Therapist

Introduction:

Respiratory Therapist Needed for a 6:45a-7:15p shift, 35 hours per week.  This is a direct placement opportunity in a highly respected LTAC.

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking a compassionate and reliable Respirator Therapist for the Hampton Roads area to join our team.

A Respiratory Therapist (RT) is a medical professional who specializes in providing care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. They assess patients, conduct diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and administer respiratory therapy to improve lung function and manage respiratory conditions.

Qualifications:

Covid Vaccine or weekly testing

1 Year Minimum Experience in a facility-based position

BLS/CPR

PPD within one year

Active CNA License 

Must be able to lift at least 50 miles or more without Restrictions 

Must be able to stand and walk for long hours without Restrictions 

Must be able to lift and bend without Restrictions
