Jonathan€™s Place is accepting applications for a full time GRO Residential Team Lead (GTP Program). The Team Lead oversees the daily supervision of clients and assigned staff, the physical care of the facility, meeting the needs of clients, overseeing medication administration, documenting client progress, and providing for the safety of youth in care. This position is responsible for the implementation of programming curriculum, Trauma-Informed Care model and utilizing a team approach to crisis intervention while working with our youth and demonstrating the values that support positive developments. Team Lead will provide quality supervision to assigned team members and is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing residential care providers activities during their assigned shift.  

 The Team Lead position is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, with evenings and weekends as needed. Jonathan's Place offers a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, 401k, and other ancillary benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enforce GRO procedures ensuring that the hourly activities/operations of childcare functions are being carried out in compliance with Licensing, Contracts and Program Policies & Procedures.
  • Assist with implementation of corrective action plans require by Licensing Standards and Contracts.
  • Ensure residents continue to receive medical care on an ongoing basis as needed.
  • Monitor residents throughout shift for illness or changes in health conditions and promptly report team (GRO).
  • Supervise the general interaction between staff and children encouraging positive reinforcement.
  • Ensure accuracy of individual time sheets authenticating at the end of the pay period
  • Responsible for adjusting monthly staff schedules to reflect staff changes as they occur
  • Responsible for monitoring resident's habits, interests, and any special needs.
  • Monitor medication logs, child daily notes, and minor/serious incident reports, ensuring that forms are filled out correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining grocery, household, and office supplies
  • Positively reinforce staff and resident's efforts and accomplishments.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Residential Programs. 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred (High School Diploma with 3+ years'€™ experience)
  • Management and supervisory experience preferred 
  • Knowledge of child development and behavior management
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
