PBS Facility Service, a leader in comprehensive building management, is looking for an experienced Building Manager to oversee our residential properties. As a Building Manager, you will ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of our facilities, uphold maintenance and security standards, and deliver exceptional service to tenants and property owners.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Maintenance and Operations:
Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs.
Oversee all repair, maintenance, and renovation projects, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
Manage emergency maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
Staff and Contractor Management:
Evaluate contractor performance services.
Foster a collaborative work environment and maintain high staff morale.
Budget Management and Reporting:
Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
Provide regular reports to property management in reference to property.
Tenant Relations:
Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition for tenants.
Address and resolve tenant complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure the property adheres to all local regulations and building codes.
Implement risk management policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety drills and update emergency preparedness plans.
Building Policies and Procedures:
Develop and enforce property policies to ensure a safe and respectful community environment.
Update and maintain property management documents and records.
Conduct regular staff meetings to review procedures and address any issues.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 experience in property management or a related field.
Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent organizational, budgeting, and financial management skills.
