Reservoir Engineer
Summary: Crowheart Energy, LLC is an independent oil and gas company with an operational focus on the Greater Green River Basin in southwestern Wyoming. The Company has a low-decline legacy production base with Lewis, Mesaverde and Fox Hills horizontal development opportunities across its 1,200,000 net acre position. Crowheart is privately held, governed by long-term energy industry investors, and carries no debt.
Position Summary: Crowheart Energy, LLC is conducting a search for a Reservoir Engineer. This position is responsible for carrying-out several functions, including well surveillance, working alongside Operations and Subsurface teams, assist with maintaining reserves database and assist with efforts related to D&C planning. The asset reserve base is primarily natural gas, experience weighted toward natural gas preferred. The position will report to the Director of Reservoir Engineering. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of reservoir engineering experience while working for an upstream O&G company.

Responsibilities:
· Perform routine surveillance on company PDP to assist with optimizing production
- Work closely with Operations and Field Supervisors to perform recurring well reviews and make recommendations for workovers, bypassed pay opportunities, and other production optimization projects
· Collaborate cross-functionally on asset and operational project analysis
· Analyze historical performance in conjunction with geologic/reservoir parameters to help drive future development strategies with technically appropriate project risking
· Assist with corporate reserves, reporting, and documentation
· Generate and update PDP decline forecasts and type curve profiles for use in budgeting, hedging, operational decisions, and other corporate uses
Skills and Attributes
· Recent and relevant experience with horizontal and vertical development of unconventional and conventional sand plays
· Familiar with economic evaluation software (e.g. Aries and ComboCurve)
· High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint
· Knowledge of SQL
· Experience in S&P Harmony, S&P Enerdeq, Spotfire, and Power BI
· Self-starter, high-energy, and positive, results-oriented attitude
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree
· 5+ years of reservoir engineering experience while working for an upstream O&G company
· Ability to work well and communicate effectively
· Ability to work toward goals independently with minimal oversight
· Must be able to work efficiently and focus on critical path items
· Possess honesty, integrity & demonstrate candor
· Must be detail oriented
