Fidelity Power Systems, one of the nation's largest distributors of Rehlko Generators, formerly ‘Kohler, and Power Systems, is seeking a seasoned Rental Manager to join our growing team operating at our Sparks, MD office!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Oversee the full rental cycle for generators and power systems, including equipment scheduling, delivery, setup, monitoring during use, pickup, and post-rental inspections.

·         Manage rental inventory levels to ensure availability and reliability of all rental units; coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

·         Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their project needs and recommend appropriate rental solutions.

·         Negotiate rental agreements, terms, and pricing to ensure profitability while remaining competitive in the market.

·         Coordinate with service technicians to ensure equipment is prepared, tested, and compliant with safety and performance standards before each rental.

·         Monitor rental contracts for accuracy, renewals, and timely returns; oversee billing and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.

·         Work with vendors and suppliers to secure additional rental equipment or accessories when demand exceeds in-house inventory.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

·         3+ years of experience in rental operations, preferably in generators, power systems, or heavy equipment industries.

·         Strong understanding of generator sizing, load requirements, and application in various industries.

·         Proven ability to manage equipment logistics, dispatching, and maintenance coordination.

·         Experience with rental management software and Microsoft Office Suite for scheduling, inventory, and reporting.

·         Excellent negotiation, customer service, and communication skills.

·         Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and the capacity to work under tight deadlines.

·         Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between locations and to customer sites as needed.
