Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remediation and Reclamation Coordinator to join our Edmonton-based team. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of remediation and reclamation projects from strategy development through regulatory closure, working with a collaborative team of environmental professionals. This role will focus primarily on office-based responsibilities, with occasional field work as required.

Key Responsibilities
· Develop and manage work plans, cost estimates, and technical strategies for Phase 2 ESAs, remediation and reclamation projects.
· Interpret and apply applicable provincial regulations (e.g., Alberta Tier 1 and Tier 2 guidelines).
· Review and prepare technical reports including Phase 2 ESAs, remediation action plans, and reclamation certificate applications.
· Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior staff.
· Coordinate with field teams and subcontractors to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant project execution.
· Track project progress, budgets, and data using Matidor, ESdat, and SiteView.
· Liaise with clients, regulators, and landowners in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
· Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting, with a strong focus on remediation and reclamation in Alberta.
· Eligible for professional designation with APEGA, ASPB, or AIA.
· Proficient in the use of ESdat, Matidor, and SiteView (or similar project/data management platforms).
· Experience using the SST model is considered an asset.
· Strong technical writing and data interpretation skills.
· Solid understanding of Alberta's regulatory landscape and end-of-life closure requirements.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
