Rehab Tech/Aide

POSITION SUMMARY

The Rehab Technician will assist the licensed therapist as directed, transport patients and maintain cleanliness of treatment room. 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

1.         Reports to Staff Physical/Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist.

2.         May report to Physical Therapist Assistant or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant where state regulations allow.

3.         Works at maintaining a good rapport and cooperative interdepartmental relationship with all patient care personnel; demonstrates a team attitude.

4.         Consistently develops a therapeutic relationship with the patient; maintains a proper perspective between personal and professional affairs.

5.         Inspires confidence from patients, visitors, family and staff by performing and communicating in a highly professional manner at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

1.         High school diploma.

2.         Ability to work well with resident and staff.

3.         Training as Rehab Technician and completion of job orientation.

4.         Good physical and mental health.
