Pay Rate: $2016.00-$3108.00 per week

Shift/Schedule: 6:15P-6:45A (3X12 hours) or 6:45P-6:45A (4X12 hours)

Location: Covington, LA

Position Requirements:

• At least 2 years OR Experience
• Trauma Level II Experience Preferred
• Epic Experience Preferred
• Active RN license with the State of Louisiana
  
• AM 6:15P-6:45A
• Provides perioperative nursing care for surgical patients during night shift operation.
• Requires experience in multi-specialty OR setting
• Ability to work independently during off-hours in a community hospital trauma setting
• Circulating Duties
• Patient Assessment
• Coordination with surgical and anesthesia team
• Assisting the team in maintaining and creating a comfortable, safe environment for the patient
• Accurately anticipates needs of surgical team by timely availability of needed supplies and equipment
• Ensures patient safety through the utilization of accurate assessment, critical thinking, expert evaluation and skillful clinical judgment
• Adherence to AORN standards and hospital policies
• Unit Details: Ortho, Cardio Thoracic, ENT, GYN, Plastics, Vascular, Ophthalmologist, General Surgery, Trauma, Urology, Neurology, Robotic Procedures

Credential Requirements (to be verified after interview):

• Active BLS and ACLS Certifications
• Current TB Skin Test, Quantiferon Results, or Chest X-Ray
• Hep B
• MMR
• Varicella
• Covid and Flu Vaccinations
