Full Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Broadway Home Care is looking for a PRN Nurse with demonstrated knowledge of communicating with individuals of all ages. Excellent interpersonal/written communication skills. PRN Nurse will travel to assigned client locations to perform Initial admissions and follow up visits via re assessments in Client place of residence. RN will evaluate patient’s condition, completing appropriate clinical documentation under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor or Director. RN will implement and update Patient Care Plan in conjunction with patient and family to assist them in achieving optimal resolution of needs/problems, document, and report to Nursing Supervisor. The RN is accountable for performing discharge planning in coordination with Nursing Supervisor. RN will oversee the work of CNA’S and Personal Care Workers during supervision visit, Update written personal care instructions/care plan that reflect current plan of care or care plan changes. RN will perform quarterly utilization review of inpatient Admissions and Discharges. RN participates in continuing education initiatives and staff meetings via Teams with Nursing Supervisor. Tasks are performed within the RN scope of practice, under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor or Director, using independent nursing judgement and decision-making, medical policies, and clinical decision-making criteria sets. Must be familiar with use and functions of the computer, such as, creating usernames and password concepts, internet, Microsoft outlook email, navigation of computer desktop, including starting programs, creating, saving files, uploading documents, familiar with windows programs, effective use of navigation buttons and tool bars, ability to self-manage word programs and online training programs. Familiar with Teams App. Ability to submit/email documents in a timely manner.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Unrestricted NC Registered Nursing License Required
Current CPR certification

Experience:
Minimum Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
