Job description:
- Plan, implement, and coordinate patients plan of care.
- Make sure clinic notes are prepped properly by MA prior to clinic
- Convey patient problems; abnormal results to MD
- Relay test results and MD treatment plan to the patient
- Document in EMR all required information for each visit to patient
- Obtain pre-authorizations for medication, diagnostic testing, and hospital procedures.
- Other: Performs all other related duties as assigned and serves in whatever other capacity deemed necessary for successful completion of the mission and goals of Birmingham Heart Clinic.
- Current Alabama State Nursing License
