Regional Nurse

Paragon Management SNF, LLC has an opportunity for a Regional Corporate Registered Nurse to provide oversight to support the clinical goals of our Skilled Nursing Facilities which are located throughout Long Island and Westchester County.

The ideal candidate will have at least three to five years prior experience as a Corporate Nurse Consultant in a long-term care environment.

Summary:

Our Regional Corporate Nurse will provide oversight to our facilities in the following areas (but not limited to):

• Resident Care
• State & Federal surveys
• Regulatory compliance and clinical services.
• Will be responsible for driving clinical outcomes, implementing and updating clinical policies/procedures while ensuring compliance with State/Federal regulations & standards of care.

Position REQUIRES some local travel.

DUTIES:

• Assess & evaluate clinical services in assigned facilities to identify areas for clinical improvement.
• Schedules facility visits based on facility issues and compliance needs.
• Schedules training / professional development meetings for DONs
• Provides assistance & support throughout the survey process including: preparation for survey, writing a plan of correction & developing an action plan, and monitoring for compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

At least 3-5 years of experience as a Corporate Nurse, required

REQUIRED:

• Candidate must possess a valid NYS RN license.
• Experience in a Corporate Nursing role required.
• Supervisory experience in healthcare settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal & leadership skills.
• Excellent knowledge of State & Federal guidelines.
