Growing Radiology practice seeking a highly motivated leader to perform multiple functions in the Baltimore Region


A Regional Managers (RM) role serves in both an operational and a public relations function. Oversight and management of their assigned sites and the employees within them are their primary responsibility. The public relations function of this role requires coordination with local marketing personnel to ensure the delivery of impeccable service, often specialized, may be necessary. The RM reports directly to the Director of Clinical Operations. The RM collaborates with other RM’s and Imaging Center Managers (ICM) throughout CMI to ensure consistent best practices company-wide.  

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Screens qualified staff following approved protocols; follows compensation guidelines; maintains a minimum level of turnover

  • Works effectively with staff at all levels; keeps managers and subordinates well informed with regard to internal issues and external developments

  • Responsible for bi-weekly approval of time cards

  • Responsible for employee performance reviews and disciplinary action as needed

  • Sets individual and departmental goals and objectives, appropriately delegates work and follows through to ensure optimal results; integrates changes smoothly; maintains an appropriate level of flexibility to ensure optimal results

  • Maximizes flexibility in working with other departments; promotes flexibility in staff utilization across offices

  • Actively promotes the practice in all contacts with staff and outside vendors; recommends or seeks out new business opportunities

  • Takes initiative to improve subordinate, business unit or own performance; advocates change to maximize effectiveness and efficiency; goes beyond the scope of the job when necessary; takes advantage of opportunities

  • Develops strategies to achieve individual and business unit goals; prioritizes and plans work activities effectively; uses time effectively; works in an organized manner; pursues and wins support for ideas before moving forward

  • Displays willingness and ability to make tough decisions; exhibits sound judgment; evaluates a range of possible solutions; gathers and evaluates all the data before making decisions, demonstrates flexibility in decision making

  • Maintains a work environment free of harassment and discrimination; manages all kinds and classes of people fairly and equitably

  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers/patients

  • Responds promptly and effectively to customer/patient needs or complaints

  • Maintains employee and patient confidentiality

  • Follows safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment

  •  Performing other duties as assigned



    *Clinical Experience/licensed technologist preferred; not required*

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 year's Management Experience
  • Exceptional verbal, written, active listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven customer service abilities for both internal and external customers.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Be capable of advocating for the Organization’s mission and department goals
