Piatt Hotel Group is looking for a Regional Director of Sales to lead their centralized sales team. The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue across Piatt Hotel Group’s portfolio. This role requires a functional leader who will manage a centralized sales team, work in partnership with property-level sales teams, source and maintain accounts with clients, while ensuring sales initiatives align with overall company objectives. They will collaborate closely with the executive team, general managers, revenue management, and marketing teams to maximize market share and profitability. This is an onsite position and will be located at Piatt Hotel Group's headquarters in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor centralized sales team, providing training, performance guidance and support to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue across all properties in the portfolio.
- Analyze market trends, competitive data, and revenue performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Establish and maintain accounts with key corporate, group, and leisure clients. Conduct property tours with clients as necessary.
- Collaborate with revenue management and marketing to optimize pricing, promotions, and distribution channels.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet revenue goals.
- Oversee RFP processes and negotiate major contracts with corporate and group accounts.
- Represent the hotel portfolio at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Ensure brand standards and corporate sales initiatives are implemented effectively at each property.
- Work closely with hotel ownership and executive leadership to align sales strategies with overall business goals and make recommendations on what types of business to secure.
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques, revenue management, and hotel operations.
- 5+ years of hotel sales leadership experience, with experience in a centralized sales environment preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Previous experience in the sales process and function of a hotel
- Experience with both corporate and social market a plus.
- Hilton and Wyndham brand experience a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience with Delphi, strongly desired
- Experience working with sales CRM systems and hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Ability to effectively listen, communicate and perform diplomacy with internal and external clients in all situations.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to multitask required.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
