We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Business Office Manager to oversee the business office operations for 8-10 nursing home facilities in the Central FL area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance, with a focus on long-term care operations. This role is essential in ensuring efficient billing, collections, financial reporting, and resident account management across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business offices at multiple nursing home facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
  • Lead and mentor Business Office Managers (BOM) at each facility, providing guidance on financial management, billing procedures, and collections.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including Medicaid/Medicare billing, private pay, and insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Coordinate with facility administrators and clinical teams to ensure proper documentation and communication for billing purposes.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes across facilities to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance at each location, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in audits, state inspections, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between the corporate office, facility administrators, and external stakeholders regarding business office matters.
  • Ensure customer service excellence for residents and their families in handling billing inquiries and payment issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business office management, preferably in a long-term care or nursing home setting.
  • Experience managing multiple facilities or regions is strongly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and third-party payer systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train, guide, and motivate staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clinical, administrative, and financial teams.
  • Proficiency in healthcare billing software, accounting systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel locally to each facility as needed.
