Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic healthcare leader to join our team as a Regional Administrator for Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). This role is responsible for overseeing the operational, regulatory, and financial performance of multiple SNFs within a designated region. The Regional Administrator will lead initiatives to enhance quality of care, regulatory compliance, and financial outcomes while mentoring facility-level leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Compliance

Provide leadership and support to ensure efficient, compliant daily operations across assigned SNFs

Ensure adherence to all CMS, state, and federal regulations through regular audits, surveys, and risk assessments
Financial Performance

Monitor facility budgets, financial statements, and KPIs

Identify opportunities to improve financial performance through cost management and revenue strategies
-
Assist with rate negotiations and payer mix optimization
Quality Improvement

Lead regional QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) efforts

Analyze clinical metrics and implement corrective action plans as needed

Promote a culture of clinical excellence and resident-centered care
Leadership & Human Resources

Recruit, train, and mentor Facility Administrators/Executive Directors

Lead talent development and succession planning across the region

Ensure alignment of HR practices and staffing strategies
Strategic Partnerships & Representation

Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and community partners

Represent the organization in local and industry events to strengthen market presence
Qualifications:
Required:
-
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or related field

Active Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license (multi-state licenses may be required)

Minimum of 5 years of senior-level experience in long-term care, including oversight of multiple facilities

Demonstrated success in regulatory compliance and survey readiness

Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement structures

Excellent leadership, communication, and operational management skills

Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region (approximately 50-75%)
Preferred:

Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MPH, or related)

Familiarity with PointClickCare or other EHR platforms

Experience with value-based purchasing and quality incentive programs

Exposure to facility acquisition, integration, or turnaround scenarios
Work Environment:
This is a regional leadership role requiring frequent travel between facilities and occasional overnight stays. The position operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where adaptability, resilience, and proactive leadership are essential.
