Recruiting Coordinator

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE
The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing and hiring candidates. They will collaborate with Human Resources and the hiring managers to understand staffing needs and coordinate recruitment efforts.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create a successful recruitment strategy.
- Understand the hiring requirements of each role by property.
- Post jobs externally and internally and keep postings up to date.
- Attract candidates through various channels including professional networks, social media and recruitment platforms.
- Review applications and resumes to screen candidates.
- Disposition applicants in the HRIS / Recruitment system in a timely manner and communicate with them on their status.
- Effectively communicate your knowledge or Community, Company, Property, and Role with applicants.
- Coordinate with hiring manager regarding scheduling interviews with candidates, hiring managers and the event space team.
- Coordinate with hiring manager regarding conducting interviews with hourly employees
- Be the liaison between the hiring manager, candidate and human resource team.
- Assist with background checks and reference checks.
- Assist HR with market research on wages and benefits packages.
- Report and track job and applicant information.
- Track potential returning employees.
- Stay updated about hiring trends and best practices
- Attend job fairs and hiring events.
- Attend appropriate meeting
- Assist Director of HR with administrative tasks as needed.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition skills
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience in conducting interviews and candidate assessments
- Effective administration and people management skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and cooperate with other departments
- Strong ability in using HRIS and Recruitment systems and MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience in the hospitality industry a plus.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the Human Resource Manager based upon the particular requirements of the company.
- Participate in industry organizations.
- Maintain an open line of communication between guests, employees, and management.
- Assist in any other duties as needed. This position may be required to perform other and additional duties assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
- High School graduate or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree or certification preferred with emphasis in Communications, Psychology, Business Administration, or Human Resources.
EXPERIENCE/ LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
- 1-2 years Recruiting Experience
SCHEDULE / HOLIDAYS/ PTO
The Recruiter is expected to keep a 40 hour weekly schedule, adjusted as needed according to business demands, and be available in the event of an emergency.
