The Role: Recruiting + Training Strategist

This isn’t just a recruiting gig—it’s a foundational people role. You’ll not only find exceptional Rebels to join the movement, but also design and deliver training experiences that help them succeed across every corner of our business.

 

What You’ll Do

👥 Full-Cycle Recruiting: Own the process from job posting to onboarding. Source, screen, interview, and close top-tier talent.
📣 Employer Branding: Show the world what makes Rebel special through creative job postings, career page updates, and outreach.
🔍 Pipeline Management: Build deep talent pools across functions—from creative to warehouse to tech—and stay ahead of hiring needs.
🤝 Department Partnering: Work with hiring managers to define roles, align recruiting strategy, and understand onboarding needs.
🧭 Training Development: Create role-specific onboarding tracks, departmental training resources, and manager toolkits.
🧠 Process Improvement: Help design and optimize scalable, branded learning experiences that drive engagement and performance.
📊 Reporting & Insights: Monitor recruiting and training KPIs to improve hiring velocity, retention, and new-hire success.

 

Who You Are

💼 8+ years in recruiting, people operations, or L&D—with experience balancing tactical execution and strategic thinking.
🧠 Highly organized and data-aware, with a bias toward action and iteration.
💬 A natural communicator and storyteller—able to excite candidates, align stakeholders, and deliver powerful onboarding journeys.
💡 Curious, creative, and resourceful. You love solving people problems and building things that scale.
🧩 Comfortable with ATS, LMS, HRIS tools, and modern productivity platforms (bonus if you've used Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, or Trainual).
Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with lots of moving parts—and the chance to shape something new.

🌐 Have experience in fashion, retail, or performance-based industries.
🎓 Built internship programs, career pathways, or departmental learning guides.
🎯 Created behavioral or role-fit assessments that improved hiring or retention.
