RECREATION AIDE

Bedford Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Recreation Aide to join the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY!

As a Recreation Aide at The Allure Group, you would be part of a winning team doing meaningful work to improve residents' quality of life, health, and comfort.

Recreation Aide Responsibilities

●        Prepare recreational programs and activities to meet the functional levels, needs, and interests of residents

●        Maintain records of residents’ attendance and participation in activities

●        Coordinate activities with other departments as necessary

●        Follow care plans in providing daily activities for residents

●        Encourage residents to take part in personal development

●        Promote physical, social, and mental well-being of residents

Recreation Aide Requirements

●        High school diploma or its equivalent

●        Strong interpersonal and communication skills

●        COVID-19 Vaccination

Preferred

●        Previous experience in long-term care
