Job Summary: Brockton Home Health Care Agency is looking for a receptionist to handles front desk duties, manages phone calls, schedules appointments, prepare admission packet, assist with faxing physician orders and upload signed physician’s orders physician orders into axxess, calling hospital and doctors office to request patients last visit notes and medication list. The Receptionist will maintains client records. Greets visitors, assist with administrative tasks, and ensure a welcoming environment.
Required Skills:
· Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with physicians, staff, and patients.
· Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients, families, and staff.
· Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain accurate records.
· Attention to Detail: Carefully review documents for accuracy and completeness.
· Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to physician orders and patient care.
· Knowledge of Home Health: Familiarity with home health regulations, procedures, and terminology is beneficial.
· Computer Skills: Proficiency in using office software and databases.
· Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
Responsibilities:
· Front Desk Duties: Greet clients, staff, and visitors in a professional manner.
· Telephone Management: Answer and route calls, take messages, and provide information.
· Scheduling and Appointments: Schedule client visits, appointments, and maintain calendars.
· Record Keeping: Maintain client records, documents, and files.
· Administrative Tasks: Perform data entry, filing, and other office duties.
· Client and Family Support: Provide assistance to clients and their families, including referrals and support.
· Communication: Serve as a liaison between clinical and administrative staff.
· Other Duties: Assist with office tasks, such as managing mail, faxing, and ordering supplies.
