Radiology Technologist - Rad Tech

Ely is a charming small town in northern Minnesota, offering access to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. You can enjoy observing wildlife, exploring over 250 miles of the Prospector Loop Trail System on a side-by-side, and discovering local artisans’ creations while shopping or indulging in our many unique restaurants. Our Diagnostic Imaging Department has been remodeled and is now bustling with activity, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, including MRI, CT, general X-ray, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, and DEXA. All our technologists perform X-ray and CT, and we are currently welcoming additional modalities such as mammography and MRI. We encourage cross-training, and EBCH strongly supports professional growth, providing numerous opportunities to acquire new modalities. Schedules are planned well in advance to ensure a positive work-life balance for our team. Most shifts are during the day, with the entire team rotating one week of afternoon shifts and one weekend of call roughly every five to six weeks. Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two-year Medical Association approved course in Radiologic Technology or any equivalent combination of education and experience
• Possession of, or eligible for, required Certification by the AART as a Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • Those hired with “or eligible for” status must take the first available exam for certification and are required to pass within six months from hire date.

Preferred:

• CT experience or willingness to obtain through EBCH cross training program
• MRI and Mammo experience. 
• EPIC knowledge 

Wage $32 - $40 per hour. Pay rate will be based on years of experience and additional certifications in imaging modules such as CT, MRI, & Mammo.
