TST Fab & Machine is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance department, ensuring that our fabrication and machining processes meet the stringent requirements of ISO standards and Department of Defense (DOD) regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems that comply with legal standards and meet customer expectations.

Full-time: Monday to Thursday 7am – 4:30pm; Friday 7am – 11am

Job Responsibilities

·         Demonstrate our Core Values of Safety First, Accountability, Good to Great and All in

·         Lead activities and reporting to support ISO 9001 certification and adhere to DOD requirements for fabrication and machining processes.

·         Develop and oversee quality control tests to ensure compliance with ISO, DOD, and customer standards, inspecting at various production stages.

·         Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor compliance to ensure high-quality inputs.

·         Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations specific to the defense industry and ISO standards.

·         Supervise and provide guidance to inspectors, technicians, and other staff members.

·         Oversee product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.

·         Maintain documentation and perform statistical analysis to meet ISO and DOD reporting requirements.

·         Engage with customers to gather feedback and ensure product requirements are met, aiming for continuous improvement.

 

Job Requirements & Qualifications

·         A Quality Assurance Level II certification is required to support all weld and NDT inspections, personnel training, testing and certification.

Desired Experience

·         A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in fabrication and machining.

·         Demonstrated ability to manage quality systems, conduct internal and customer audits, and lead quality improvement projects.
