Quality Control Specialist
The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the established standards set by the Company. This includes development of inspection routines and schedules along with PASS/FAIL criteria. They will work closely with the engineering department and production teams on current and new parts. They will also focus on quality checks with all departments, to ensure production standards are consistently met, while maintaining a daily log.
Full time Position
Starting Pay is $20-24 an hour, based on experience
Shift Monday-Friday:
- 7am-3:30pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop daily inspection routines, logging procedures, and metrics for checking the quality of, and reporting on, manufactured components and finished goods.
· Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
· Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
· Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
· Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.
· Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
· Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
· Analyze data and statistical results to identify patterns and trends.
· Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
· Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
· Periodically perform other duties as assigned that may not directly be related to quality control.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
· Certification in quality control is preferred.
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
· Working knowledge of manufactured components
· In-depth understanding of industry standards and company policies.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
· Sharp attention to detail.
· Ability to use precision measurement tools.
· Ability to read engineering drawings/blueprints.
· Microsoft Office applications
· Understanding of MRP/ERP system
· Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
· Adapt to hot/cold environment, humidity, dust, and noise.

· Safety Glasses – Company provided - Required while in the shop.
· Industrial work shoes or boots required while in the shop.
· Proper PPE must be worn for the job – Company provided.
· Hearing protection – Company provided/Recommended.
· Must wear long pants.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
