Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

·       The QA nurse is responsible for analyzing data integrity, auditing medical records, attention to detail, consistency of OASIS documentation and assessment processes

·       Coding using relevant ICD10 codes for homecare

·       Determine the necessity of medical services in compliance with federal and state reimbursement policies

·       Work with clinical field staff and review clinical documentation for established quality standards

·       Partner with DON to ensure a proper utilization of services, provide case feedback, and assist with other clinical questions

·       Oversee chart audit processes and some field supervisory visits may be required

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

  • A current license as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
  • Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program.

·        Minimum 5 years of clinical Registered Nurse experience

·        Homecare experience is a must

·        Knowledge of Oasis C2 & ICD 10 required

·        Proven knowledge of Medicare State and Federal home health regulations Ability to provide clinical leadership with multi-disciplinary teams

·        Excellent knowledge of computerized documentation and office software required
