Title: Quality Assurance Inspector
Reports To: Director, Quality
Location: Greenwood, SC
Purpose:
The Quality Assurance Inspector role is responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role involves conducting inspections, tests, and audits to ensure that the final product meets our 3C quality assurance program that consists of code compliance, customer expectations, and company standards. We also focus our effort toward maintaining safety regulations.

• Efficient identification and resolution of quality issues, reducing defects and rework.
• Continuous improvement of quality control and production processes, enhancing overall operational efficiency and product quality.
Essential Functions:
• Perform inspections and tests on products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Document and track quality control findings, including test results, inspections, and any corrective actions taken.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify quality issues, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions.
• Review and analyze production processes to ensure adherence to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety and quality standards, ensuring that all products meet industry regulations.
• Conduct final product inspections prior to shipping, ensuring that products are ready for delivery without defects or issues.
• Assist in training employees on quality control procedures, best practices, and the importance of maintaining high standards.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet the required quality specifications.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on quality control activities, highlighting trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement in product quality and process efficiency, and recommend changes to enhance performance.
Required Skills & Abilities:
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects, deviations, and areas for improvement.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools, testing equipment, and software to track quality metrics.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with production teams, suppliers, and management.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple inspections and tasks simultaneously.
• Problem-solving abilities to investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Familiarity with quality management systems is preferred.
