QA-QI Matris Officer -Charlton Fire Department (Part-Time Temporary position)

The Charlton Fire Department is expanding with a newly created position - QA/QI- Matris Compliance Officer. This is a part-time non-union, non-benefited temporary position for 3 months working 19 hours per week. The position will report to the Chief as an administrative role within the fire department. The work schedule is flexible and will be agreed upon by the employee and the Fire Chief. 

The QA/QI-Matris Officer is responsible for overseeing the departments Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement program for Emergency Medical Services (EMS).  This includes reviewing patient care reports, monitoring protocol adherence, evaluationg response and scene times, and identifying trends or deficienies in EMS operations. The Officer will analyze data to track performance metrics and ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.  In addition ensuring that reporting requirements to OEMS are within required standards. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Drivers License
• Certified EMT Paramedic
• Minimum 5 years of Paramedic experience
• Strong knowledge of EMS Protocols
• Experience in EMS QA/QI programs
