Purchasing Associate / Part Time / Auto Mechanic Office

Neutz & Tudor Automotive is a family-owned, highly skilled automotive repair shop located in the heart of Jeffersontown, KY. Delivering honest advice, quality repairs, and friendly customer service is our everyday goal. We have been in operation for over 35 years. We need a part-time office administrator looking for a long-term position that will likely grow into a full-time job opportunity. The majority of our customers have been coming to us for years, and we pride ourselves on giving excellent customer service.

The ideal Office Admin / Service Writer candidate will be familiar with the automotive industry and have knowledge in the area of auto parts and service work terminology and function. You will need to be comfortable on the computer; ordering parts online and entering transactions into QuickBooks will be the majority of your responsibilities. Experience entering estimates, invoices, and payments into QuickBooks is preferred. You will be greeting customers as they come in throughout the day, and communicating with them by phone, email, and text to keep them updated on their vehicle's status. As the Service Writer, you will be tasked with looking up parts cost information and estimated labor times on computer software provided to you. Training will be provided, but existing proficiency with computers is required. Other miscellaneous office duties include tidying up the office space, occasionally moving a vehicle, filing paperwork, etc.

Desired Experience:

• Knowledge of automotive parts and service work terminology
• Computer skills (online ordering, QuickBooks, using remote server)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
