Public Health Specialist (Part time 19 hours per week)

The Charlton Coalition for Public Health is hiring a part time Public Health Specialist (19 hours per week. Non-benefited) 

This position will provide support for a regional shared services arrangement, currently serving the Towns of Charlton, East Brookfield, Spencer, Sturbridge, Sutton and Wales. The Public Health Specialist is a grant funded position through June 30, 2027. Occassional evenings and weekends are required. 

Responsibilities include: 

* Title 5 and Septic System Oversite

*Environmental Health Inspectional Services

Certifications required:

* Massachusetts Title 5 System Inspector

* Massachusetts Soil Evauator

* Registered Sanitarian, or within 6 years of hire. 

* Specific inspectional certifications (eg. food & housing, pools, lead determinator) or within 1 year of hire.

Hourly rate 35.00/hr - 45.00/hr depending on experience and qualifications.
