Job Title: Provider Enrollment and Onboarding Supervisor

Employment Status: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Exempt

Location: On-Site

Job Summary:

The Provider Enrollment and Onboarding Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the provider enrollment and onboarding team, ensuring seamless and compliant processes for credentialing, enrollment, and onboarding of healthcare providers. This role involves leadership responsibilities, process optimization, and close collaboration with both internal teams and external payers to meet organizational goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Team Management:

o Supervise the Provider Enrollment and Onboarding Specialists, ensuring accountability and high performance.

o Provide training, mentorship, and regular feedback to the team.

· Process Oversight:

o Oversee provider enrollment and credentialing processes, including initial applications, re-credentialing, and maintenance of provider records.

o Ensure timely and accurate primary source verification of provider credentials, including education, licensure, and certifications.

· Compliance and Standards:

o Maintain compliance with all regulations from NCQA, TJC, CMS, and other governing bodies.

o Ensure that delegated credentialing agreements meet insurance standards and organizational policies.

· Problem Resolution:

o Work collaboratively with healthcare providers and insurance payers to resolve enrollment or credentialing issues efficiently.

o Act as an escalation point for complex enrollment challenges or delays.

· Reporting and Communication:

o Generate regular reports on provider enrollment and credentialing activities to inform leadership of status, challenges, and successes.

o Facilitate effective communication between departments to ensure alignment on credentialing and onboarding tasks.

· Process Improvement:

o Evaluate existing workflows and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

o Stay current on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in enrollment and onboarding procedures.

· Other Duties as Assigned:

o Support organizational projects and initiatives related to provider enrollment and onboarding.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate a team.

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and credentialing/enrollment software.

· Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

· Familiarity with payer credentialing requirements and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

· Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.

· Experience:

o Minimum of 3 years of experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, or a related field.

o Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role is highly preferred.
