Role Overview
As our Project Pursuit Manager, you'll be the driving force behind identifying, pursuing, and securing high-value projects. This pivotal role demands a unique blend of project management expertise and strategic acumen. Your ability to blend progressive thinking with practical execution will be crucial in this role. You'll be expected to lead key projects, ensuring a laser-focused approach that aligns with our organizational strategy and translates into actionable plans.
You'll be responsible for:
· Spearheading the identification and pursuit of lucrative projects
· Orchestrating negotiations to successful closure
· Crafting and implementing innovative project pursuit strategies

Essential Functions
· Drive planning and approach for curation/development of pursuit projects and resources aligned with current leadership sales strategies
· Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
· Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and cost using appropriate verification techniques
· Participate in select client sales meetings and proposal writing process
· Prepare conceptual and detailed estimates
· Participate in owner contract negotiations
· Assist with and/or manage design aspects of assigned projects
· Perform risk management to minimize project risk
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
· Provide accurate forecasting using available resources and tools

Work Environment and Physical Demands
· Standard office setting with computer and phone workstation
· May require standing, walking, or mobility throughout facility and customer sites

Position Type and Travel
· Full-time position (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
· Occasional evening and weekend work as required
· Up to 30% travel
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in related field or 3-5 years' work experience in a similar field/industry
· Project Pursuit and project development skills
· 3+ years of successful experience working with a sales team or rep organization
· Direct sales experience within a comparable industry
· Valid Driver's License
