Project Management & Estimation Internship

Job description

Empire Group is offering a paid internship for an individual that is interested in learning about Project Estimation and Project Management. This will be a hands-on learning experience that will encompass the total functions of our pipeline and powerline projects. This internship will provide valuable experience, skills and industry knowledge. We value qualities such as self-motivation, teamwork, initiative, and the desire for growth.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with all aspects of estimating projects

• Attending any meetings during bidding process

• Perform field visits with Project Managers (optional)

• Learn functions of row access, clearing access and total functions of all pipeline and powerline projects

• Data entry/Learning Salesforce

Qualifications

We are looking for a self-motivated individual in their Senior year earning a degree in a related field with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. We do not require any prior work experience, only a hunger to learn and contribute to the team. Empire is more than willing to create a flexible part-time work schedule around our normal operating hours, which are between 8-5 Monday-Friday.
