Service Estimator

Star Service is the leading HVAC service provider throughout the entire Gulf Coast. We are committed to providing excellent service, maintenance, and design-build replacements of air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

We are looking for a Service Estimator to join our New Orleans team! 

As a Service Estimator at Star Service, your primary responsibilities will be:

• Evaluate additional work requests (spot jobs or extras) and determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Review work orders, drawings, and specifications for estimates. 
• Develop cost estimates and pricing proposals for client approval. 
• Electronically maintaining records of all working documents and data to back up estimates and proposals.
• Performing job site walks as needed by other team members.
• Communicating with internal & external customers professionally and effectively.
• Building and maintaining rapport and positive working relations with field, office, and management.

As a Service Estimator at Star Service, you should have the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• 3-5 years of preparing estimates and proposals or 5-7 years of field experience.
• Must be knowledgeable in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational time management skills.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
