Project Coordinator, 3 month contract

Delta, BC Full-time $50000.00-$55000.00/year

We are looking for an outstanding Project Coordinator who is passionate about exceeding both external and internal customer expectations. An Individual who takes pride in being part of a project team, keen to begin a journey to project management excellence.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Coordinate the full project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring that all project objectives are met and delivered on time and within budget.
  • Support the project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing potential challenges and issues proactively.

Planning and Execution:

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams’ activities, ensuring project alignment and successful execution.
  • Support in documentation (Work Instructions and SOPs), master data item creation, BOM creation, technical label templates, etc.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Execute projects according to established timelines and milestones.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with teams across the organization, including cultivation, production, quality, and marketing, to coordinator project efforts and ensure project alignment with company goals.
  • Support the innovation cross-functional teams by supporting trialing: scheduling, organizing materials, data collection/analysis, etc.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment that encourages innovation and drives performance and efficiency.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports and performance metrics.
  • Ensure the integrity of the documentation to minimize errors, discrepancies, and misunderstandings among team members and stakeholders.
  • And other duties, or ad hoc responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Project Management considered an asset.
  • 1-3 years of Project Support/Coordination experience, preferably in the cannabis, food, alcohol, or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  • Project Management Professional designation, or formal training, is considered a major asset.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to rapid change, competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to be proactive in support, documentation and other relevant project tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written skills to communicate progress and risk identified to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong technical ability; Microsoft Office, ERP, project management software.
  • Proactive self-starter, able to manage their own work.
