Program Manager

Our team is looking for an experienced information technology Program Manager to run a client program. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and resources to ensure that project goals and objectives are achieved on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.  

The Program Manager will have overall responsibility for the contractor’s performance in support of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) with a particular emphasis on quality and delivery.

Overview:

The Program Manager will use their extensive experience in IT project management to manage several multi-disciplined teams over a variety of IT projects and initiatives.

Skills you will need:  

• Ability to stay organized with strong attention to detail.
• Project plan development experience – Ability to map structure processes to a defined plan, communicate direction, and work together as a team to meet objectives.  
• Strong documentation skills to capture the key details of each working session, extract action items and deliverables, maintain tracking of all action items and deliverables, and ensure they are completed on time in a cross-functional team.  
• Comfortable with follow-ups, gently but firmly pushing back, and holding team members accountable to ensure deliverables are met.  
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities.  
• Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint  

Qualifications:

•  10 years of experience in IT project management
• Graduate level degree.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)/ High Value Asset (HVA) Certification.
