PRODUCTION SCHEDULER
TST Fab & Machine is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production schedules to ensure optimal utilization of resources, adherence to deadlines, and alignment with customer expectations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask, and excellent communication capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer deadlines and optimize shop floor efficiency.
- Coordinate with production teams to balance workloads across multiple machines and workstations.
- Monitor resource availability, including labor, materials, and machinery, to prevent bottlenecks or downtime.
- Adjust schedules to accommodate unexpected delays, maintenance, or priority changes.
- Collaborate with department leads, including procurement, quality control, and production, to ensure alignment on priorities and timelines.
- Communicate schedule updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Track and analyze production metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, schedules, and adjustments.
JOB Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in production scheduling, manufacturing, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with machining, fabrication processes, and production workflows is a plus.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and tools (e.g., ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Excel).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
