Production Manager

Integrated Aqua Systems, Inc. specializes in designing, building and supplying high-end water treatment systems and equipment for use in aquaculture, aquatic research, aquaponics and commercial aquatic exhibits.   IAS currently has an opening for a Full-Time Regular position for a mid-senior level Production Manager responsible for the production of our advanced products and systems.   

Qualifications:

This is a hands-on, fast-paced shop management position that requires prior fabrication experience utilizing plastic materials, PVC piping, metal, wood and other building materials, preferably in a water-treatment related industry.  Experience with electrical wiring and control systems is required.   The Production Manager will have knowledge and experience working with electrical systems including motor wiring, control wiring and some light programming of monitoring and control systems, PLCs, VFDs and motor starters.

Educational background and/or experience with mechanical and/or electrical engineering highly desired but not required.   The right person will have excellent organizational skills, verbal /written communication skills and be flexible and able to complete a range of tasks and functions successfully in order to help the company complete projects on time and within budget.  A proven track record with assembly shop management is a must. Must be hardworking, easy to work with, detail oriented, and have pride of workmanship.  

Job Description:

This is a leadership position that will require communication with system designers, project managers and maintaining overall shop production.  Duties include assembly of PVC piping systems, assembly of mechanical equipment, electrical wiring, systems integration and other production duties.    Other duties include testing systems, maintaining documentation, organizing the production process and working with others to complete projects.   Maintain inventory, adequate materials, tools in a clean, organized, safely operated shop.  Assist with other areas of the business as necessary.
