Job Overview.

The Product Specialist will work to ensure excellent product delivery. This role will be responsible for managing relationships with partners and customers, understanding their needs, and implementing a solution to those insights. The Product Specialist will have a wealth of knowledge about our product, and also analyze market trends, develop sales, price and profitability strategies, recommend improvements, identify opportunities, and increase revenue.

This is a remote role with SOMA Headquarters located in Tampa, FL.


Job Description/What You Would Do In This Role.

  • Contributing to product portfolio roadmap, work to scope development work and define product needs

  • Ensure that product features and specifications reflect customer success requirements.

  • Prioritize features and specifications, applying resources, timeline and other constraints.

  • Work across all functional areas, gathering inputs, updating product plans and roadmaps.

  • Act as a primary liaison between stakeholders and teams.

  • Supporting the development of new products.

  • Improving the development of existing products.

  • Contributing to the launch of new products.

  • Conducting market research and analyzing industry trends.

  • Analyzing and documenting the product development process.

  • Building and maintaining customer relationships.

  • Resolving customer issues.


Requirements. 

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

  • Advanced technical skills.

  • Excellent documentation skills.

  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.

  • A track record of following through on commitments.

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
