Product Development Assistant

We are currently looking for a motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to join our team as an Assistant Product Developer. 

The Assistant Product Developer will assist in product quality evaluations, manage product data and communicate with cross-functional departments on various projects and products. 

Job Responsibilities : 

• Project coordination and working with internal and external procurement departments

• Develop detailed reports, request samples and ingredient changes

• Manage and maintain product data and product samples

• Revise ingredient statements and nutritional facts to ensure compliance with the FDA guidelines

• With guidance, develop product formulas, analyze samples from Quality Assurance and handle basic food testing

Job Requirements:

• Ability to learn and gain in depth knowledge of food and ingredient standards, FDA and USDA labeling regulations

• Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and possess excellent time management skills

• Proficiency in PC operating systems, Microsoft Office, and email

• A passion for food and cooking

Minimum Qualification:

• 0-3 years of related industry experience
• Training in food law, food science and product development a plus.
• Knowledge of food labeling laws and food packaging trends a plus
