We're excited about the innovation required to aid in the production of the crops farmers grow to feed the world, and we currently have an open opportunity for you as a Product Design Engineer in the Product Design department.
We’re Looking For
- High-energy collaborators who are passionate about team success and product design
- A hands-on and team-focused work style
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Biosystems Engineering (completed or in progress)
- Experience with design tools such as Autodesk Inventor (or similar 3D CAD system).
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally for short period of time (1-2 weeks) during the year.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is considered an asset.
- Experience the agriculture industry is also considered an asset.
In This Role You Will
- Research and identify industry trends and analyze existing products.
- Generate creative ideas for new products or improvements that meet customer needs.
- Design new products and build prototypes and work with testing to validate product.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to integrate new products and product refinements into production.
- Collaborate with supply chain team to source parts and products.
- Management and analysis of assigned projects.
- Document design specifications and processes for various audiences.
