Pro Shop Clerk and Starter

Are you an enthusiastic golfer with a passion for providing exceptional customer service? If so, we have the perfect job for you as a Pro Shop Clerk and/or Starter at Hale's Location Golf Course!

We are looking for both full time and part time team members.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and providing information about the golf course, fees, and policies
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process greens fees, cart rentals, and merchandise sales
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pro shop, ensuring that all merchandise is properly displayed and priced
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and performing regular inventory counts
• Help manage pace of play by serving as a starter or ranger on the course, monitoring player progress, and providing guidance to guests as needed
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on golf carts, such as filling gas, checking fluids, and cleaning
• Uphold the high standards of customer service and professionalism expected at the Hale's Location Golf Course

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of golf, including rules and etiquette
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale system and handle cash and credit card transactions
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for extended periods of time
