PRN Transportation Driver

Do you love helping others? We have the perfect opportunity for you. Castor Medical Transportation is searching for the right candidate to help get clients to and from their destination points. Our primary purpose is to ensure a safe and orderly transportation of clients on an assigned route. 

Qualifications:

• Prior Medical Transportation experience and/or CNA certification is preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver's License
  
• Must be 18 years old
• Ability to pass alcohol and drug test
• Ability to complete required vehicle driver safety training
• Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
• Ability to communicate effectively 
• Ability to to manage client behavior
• Ability to operate a vehicle

Major Responsibilities and Duties: Vehicle Operation

• Follow assigned route and adhere to established schedules
• Check vehicle for mechanical defects before and after each operation and notify supervisor of any needed repairs. 
• Report all accidents, vehicle damage, client injuries, and mechanical failures. Complete required reports
• Keep records on vehicle mileage, gas and oil consumption, and number of passengers transported. 
• Keep assigned vehicle clean and fueled

Experience Needed: 

• None  required- We can train the right candidate! 
• Prior Medical Transportation experience and/or CNA certification is preferred.
• CPR Certified Preferred
• Pay is $17-$18 an hour (pay is based on applicant experience)
