Now hiring an hourly PRN MDS Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

- MDS assessments, CAA completion, Care Plan completion or updated

- Open Care plan in PCC for new admits Occasionally when covering a vacation

- Care plan daily orders if covering a vacation

- Black Box warning

- Multidisciplinary assessments

- Ensure Multidisciplinary assessments are closed

- Follow up on resident and family concerns

- Quarterly assessments

Job Requirements

- Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas

- Preferred RAC-CT certificate or MDS essentials through AAPACN

- minimum 2 years of experience as an MDS Coordinator preferred

- Good organization skills

- Experience with PDPM, ICD 10 Coding, 5 star rating.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations

- Desire to work with the elderly

- This is a PRN position in a health care facility that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  The position is able to be completed on site or partially remote with flexible hours as long as work is completed timely.
