🩺 Private Duty Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Job Description (1099 position)
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Private Duty Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one care in a home setting. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities and ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of the client. This is a 1099 position.Â
Key Responsibilities- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility support, including transfers and ambulation
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding if needed
- Perform light housekeeping related to patient care
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Follow care plans and instructions from family
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-required)
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Previous experience in home care, private duty, or long-term care preferred
- Ability to lift and assist patients as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Dependable and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detailÂ
