Printing Technician/Installer (LexJet Subsidiary)

LexJet is seeking first and foremost a printer installer to install and configure printers and other equipment on to our customer's network. If supplemental parts are required to complete install, the Printing Technician might be responsible for the procurement and installation of those parts. The position also requires the training of the customer to properly sign off on a completed install.
S-One is headquartered in Sarasota, FL. We are a remote first company and will currently consider applicants who reside in the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Washington DC.
This position can be in office (Sarasota, FL), hybrid or remote but we are planning on in-person onboarding in Sarasota, FL for first week of employment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Maximize equipment up-time through timely response and effective and efficient repair with selective customer training to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude and demonstrated
- Ability to train the end users (LexJet customers)
- Basic mechanical skills to effectively build and install printing and various laminating and cutting equipment
- Ability to be effectively trained and retain knowledge on new equipment to properly complete the tasks of the position
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Knowledge of basic networking
- Computer and analytic skills
- Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
- Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time and error free
- Must be able to problem solve, read and comprehend all technical information
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pull, lift, reach and transport equipment parts and boxes
- Must have valid drivers license and insurance
- Extensive travel required
