Position Summary

The Pricing Supervisor is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing pricing strategies across the beer and spirits portfolio to drive margin expansion, revenue growth, and market competitiveness. This role partners cross-functionally to ensure pricing aligns with supplier programs, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain pricing strategies by brand, channel, and customer segment
  • Manage and maintain price books including standard, promotional, and exception pricing
  • Analyze gross margin performance by SKU, brand, supplier, and customer to identify opportunities and mitigate margin leakage
  • Recommend and execute pricing adjustments based on cost changes, supplier incentives, competitive activity, and margin targets
  • Oversee supplier pricing programs including rebates, bill-backs, and depletion allowances to ensure full capture and accurate integration into pricing models
  • Ensure compliance with supplier agreements and applicable state regulations
  • Partner with Sales to provide pricing guidance, support deal structuring, and evaluate customer profitability
  • Review and approve exception pricing while monitoring trends in overrides and discounting
  • Develop and maintain pricing tools, dashboards, and reporting to improve visibility into margin performance and price realization
  • Track and evaluate promotional effectiveness and return on investment
  • Maintain pricing data integrity within ERP systems and across reporting platforms
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial reviews through detailed pricing analytics
  • Monitor competitive pricing and market trends to maintain strategic positioning

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related field (experience in lieu of a degree)
  • Experience in pricing, financial analysis, revenue management, or distribution
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems
  • Knowledge of beverage alcohol distribution and the three-tier system preferred
  • Experience with business intelligence tools or SQL a plus
