Preventative Maintenance Technician - Avista Resort

Preventative Maintenance Technician (AM Shift Needed)-   

Job description: As the Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cosmetic appearance and the mechanical function of the Resorts Units and Public areas. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces as required, including touch-up painting, ensuring that all appliances are present in the room and in working order and listed in our Works Hub System, replacing light fixtures, and inspecting grout, caulking and other assigned work. Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment as required and miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls. Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager/supervisor.

Job Responsibilities -

• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards
• Replacement of light fixtures, fixing drywall, painting
• Repairing of broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures; other light plumbing work as needed
• Basic Appliance, furniture, and fixture repairs as requested
• Touch up painting
• Completes all work orders in a timely and detailed manner per company program standards
• Execution of scheduled preventative maintenance
• Maintains all storage areas and work spaces in a clean, safe and secure manner

Requirements -

• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed
• Previous experience in a similar field
• Able to work independently
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical skills, preventive maintenance procedures, and reasonable understanding of building equipment and hand tools
