Prep/Material Handler

Xtreme Tower Products is seeking a dependable and qualified Prep/Material Handler to join our team. XTP is the world's largest and most innovative manufacturer of towing solutions and accessories for the Marine Industry. Regular Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (Must be able to work overtime on Fridays)

Location: Plant 2 - 5714 US-411, Maryville, TN 37801

Weekly Perfect Attendance Bonus: $2.00 per hour additional for every hour worked up to 40 hours. $3.00 additional for every hour over 40 as well as overtime rate. (Must qualify for Attendance Bonus each week to receive bonus)

"XTPO": In addition to company provided paid time off, starting day one employee can earn up to 60 hours of paid leave within in a one-year period.

Referral Bonus: $500 referral bonus when someone you refer to apply is hired! (New employee who are referred, must work at least 90 days for referee to receive $500 bonus, no limit on number of referrals!)

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Requires lifting and pushing of a minimum of 50 pounds
• Create a team atmosphere and communicate well with others.
• Maintain quality product by reviewing product prior to moving on to next department.
• Achieve product standards with team.
• Maintain equipment maintenance for all equipment.
• Continuous 5S practice within department.
• Conforms to all plant policies and procedures.
• Obeys and enforces all safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.

 Job Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• 1 year manufacturing/automotive manufacturing experience preferred.

Conditions and Equipment:

• Standard plant environment, climate controlled in the winter and temperature can exceed 90 degrees in the summer.
• Able to lift, push and pull 50 pounds intermittently.
