Taylor View Towers is modern and attractive and geared to residents’ comfort and enjoyment.  Our community is in the north-central part of the city of Red Deer. Southview Tower has 5 floors & Northview Tower has 6 floors of community living.

As a Prep Cook at Taylor View Towers,  we seek the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience in food preparation or a related role 
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in our kitchen operations. You will assist the chef in preparing ingredients, following recipes, and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and freshness. Your attention to detail, ability to work efficiently, and commitment to food safety will contribute to the success of our kitchen team.
  • You are an exceptional patient team player! One who takes pride in the relationships they build and being able to positively motivate and mentor fellow team members
  • Flexible, ability to prioritize and re-adjust routines, open to change for the benefit of the community
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time and resource management skills

  • Maintaining records required by the Community, required auditors, and funders as required
  • Attains and maintains ongoing compliance with appropriate local, provincial, and federal regulatory standards

Qualifications:

  • Obtain prior to employment, a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector check
  • Food Safe Certificate
